Premier Pools & Spas, the world’s number one swimming pool builder, has recently expanded into the Charlotte West, NC and Savannah, GA metropolitan areas. President of Premier Franchise Management, Aaron Gurley, has chosen Matt and Lexi Burkett to be the owners of the Charlotte West, NC office, and John and Elizabeth Kieffer to be the owners of the Savannah, GA office.

Matt and Lexi Burkett have been married since 2003 and have grown their family over the past 17 years. They have four children from 8-16 years old and say, “it’s never a dull moment at our house!” Matt has built and managed teams of people for the past 20 years. They have always wanted to have a business of their own and are excited to run a Premier Pools & Spas franchise. What they are most looking forward to is helping people achieve their dream back yard!
Matt and Lexi heard about Premier Pools & Spas through a family connection. Matt and Lexi said that they chose to own a franchise because of the “amazing integrity and track record” that PPAS has. They loved that PPAS is a family owned business that has grown into what it is over the past 30 years. They are excited to see when a plan starts, and a dream is completed. The Burkett’s believe that the Premier brand speaks for itself and they plan to treat each project as if it were their own.
Savannah, GA | Owner: John & Elizabeth Kieffer
John and Elizabeth attended Georgia Southern University where they met. They have two children: Isabel who is pursuing a degree in dental hygiene and Owen who is a junior in high school. John has been in the construction business all his life as his grandfathers and father were in the residential and commercial contracting business. He was the owner of a pest control business for 16 years before selling to a large regional company and has also been in the self-storage for over 25 years. John will be running Premier Pools and Spas of Savannah while Elizabeth teaches first grade in Effingham County.
John chose Premier Pools and Spas franchise after doing a lot of research. He said, “What impressed me the most about PPAS is their focus on quality and customer satisfaction.” He is most looking forward to the design process to help the homeowner visualize what their dreams can become and make them come true. John is excited to learn from and expand his knowledge of the pool industry. He believes in treating everyone equally because it takes everyone in an organization to get the job done.
