When Can the Project Begin?
Most things in life are worth waiting for. Typically, when people have made that decision to purchase our services and start building their new dream backyard, they want to swim as soon as possible. Don’t let the desperation of the finished product make you impatient and skew you from your overall vision. Once you have spoken to our Phoenix pool builders about hiring them for designing and creating your new backyard, things can be set in motion fairly quickly. As soon as you have everything from the shape of the pool, to the water features and finishing touches picked out, we can begin.
The Best Time to Build a Pool in Phoenix
Between the months of June and September, Phoenix is known to have monsoon weather. This can be difficult for our Phoenix pool builders to work in. The months of December to March also have some rain as well. But, since Phoenix is more often dry than wet, it’s safe to say that you can start building your pool anytime during the Spring or Fall months. Due to the rainy season being very sporadic, it would be best to call a few months ahead to get all the details figured out and start building during the few months that are guaranteed dry. This way, construction doesn’t get pushed back due to the wet weather, and your pool can get done faster and easier.
Be Ready For Summer
Our Phoenix pool builders usually can build a brand new pool and completely new backyard in about 8 to 12 weeks (2-3 months) from start to finish. Sometimes it can be shorter or longer depending on the weather, as previously mentioned. We want your pool to be built just as badly as you do, so if rain comes and delays our builders, that not only can put a damper on your mood but ours as well because it will take a lot longer to finish the project. Typically when rain comes and your project is setback, that means that it’s not only yours, but others in the area as well, stopping all business and income for the region. So, you can see why the weather delaying our timeline can affect our mood as well, sometimes even pushing back other projects that haven’t even been started yet, too.
On the other hand, if you’re remodeling your pool and backyard, the process can be a bit shorter. A remodel can take about 6-8 weeks from start to finish on average. Obviously creating a new pool means digging out that hole on your property and beginning something brand new, but remodeling means you already had a swimming pool and are changing the surface of it along with the border and tiling and adding any water features you might want.
