Seen here (and above), riders drop down from the top of the Mayan Temple replica into an acrylic tunnel that is submerged in a shark-filled lagoon. ‘The Abyss’ is another adventure slide if you are into thrilling and adventuresome activities. It starts off in complete darkness for a staggering 50-foot vertical drop, once you surface into the light again you still have to drop another 150 feet! The slide ends in an underground lair filled with alligator gars and fish. If you would like to have a once-in-a-lifetime experience with dolphins then, head on over to the Dolphin Cay! Guests can have a ball in this 14-

Atlantis in your
own backyard?

We got pool envy just looking at this gorgeous resort, so we don’t blame you if you did as well! One of the first things that people want to know when they talk to a swimming pool contractor is, “How much is this going to cost me?” If you’ve never gotten a pool before, you probably don’t have a clue. There are several factors that will determine the inground pool cost and that will be determined primarily by you. Although pool prices will vary from region to region in the country, a typical base pool price starts around $20,000 – $28,000 in most areas.  This would cover a freeform, geometric, or classic-style pool with no spa attached.  If you live in an area that has hard, rocky or sloping terrain, you may incur some extra excavation or engineering costs, but as a rule, most of the pools that we build are in relatively flat lots.
