Top-Notch Swimming Pool Builders in Souderton, PA
To provide individual franchise owners with special recognition and to celebrate successes, Premier Pools & Spas (PPAS) selects a pool of the month recipient. PPAS franchise owners are welcome to submit their favorite swimming pool projects for consideration.
For January, the selection committee chose the team at PPAS in Souderton, PA for the pool of the month honor.
PPAS Souderton is owned by the McGalliard family. The McGalliards have been building pools for over 50 years and have been Premier pool builders since 2012. Prior to pool building, they were decking contractors, then added plastering in the 1970s. The McGillards started building swimming pools a few years later.
They now have the second and third generations working as Premier pool builders. The McGalliards have built over 10,000 swimming pools!
For their January submission, the team in Souderton proposed a gunite pool owned by the Kollevoll family. The pool included a wet edge interior finish and gorgeous natural gray Bostwich veneer stone. Pavers were utilized for the coping and deck. A serene, raised spa and stone-faced wall were incorporated into the design.
The property backed up against a golf course, which added the challenge of tight access. The backside of the pool is four feet out of the ground to address barrier code requirements. Jeff McGalliard said, “I worked with the homeowner for over a year before we started the project”, making sure that the Kollevoll’s received an amazing pool.
Each pool of the month winner receives a donation to their favorite charity from PPAS. Jeff selected the American Heart Association, in honor of his father.
PPAS franchisees submitted several incredible pools for January’s competition. Another favorite was Lindsey Apple’s (Premier San Diego) swimming pool with a rim flow spa and double Baja shelves. The gorgeous Pebble Sheen blue interior completed the stunning oasis.
