Pool construction materials and installation quality will determine how often you need to remodel your pool. Vinyl pools will need a new liner on average every 7-10 years. Gunite pools will need to be replaster around 10 years with typical plaster or 20+ years with modern pebble type interiors. Fiberglass pools should not need the interior remodeled for the life of the pool.
