Premier Pools & Spas of Sun City
Sun City was one of the first age-restricted communities of its kind when Del Webb built it in the 1960s, and a lot of that original character is still here, smaller lots, single-story homes, and yards that haven’t always kept pace with the house. When we build a pool here, we’re usually working with less space than a newer Menifee subdivision offers, and often retrofitting a yard that’s been the same for decades.
That changes the design conversation. A smaller footprint, a spool instead of a full-sized pool, easier-access steps, and low-maintenance finishes tend to matter more here than they do elsewhere in our territory.
Sun City Pool Building services
Gunite lets us shape a pool to fit a smaller, older lot exactly, rather than forcing a manufactured size into a tight yard. Add a spa, and most projects run around $100,000 depending on size and site conditions.
Fiberglass is available and can be a good fit for smaller, more straightforward Sun City lots. It runs $15,000 to $25,000 more than gunite here, mostly due to shipping and crane costs to get the shell in.
Larger rock grottos are less common on Sun City’s smaller lots, but simpler water features, a raised wall with a sheer descent, and a small spillway, remain popular. These typically start around $3,000 to $10,000, with larger features running $15,000 to $50,000 depending on complexity.

What Sun City homeowners are saying about Premier Pools & Spas
Sun City Territory
We build inground pools in Sun City, Menifee, Quail Valley, and the surrounding areas.
Sun City’s HOA is generally more relaxed than newer Menifee communities, though front-facing changes, including some pool projects, can still need architectural approval. We confirm what applies before finalizing your design.

Sun City FAQs
Common questions from Sun City homeowners about building a custom inground pool with Premier Pools & Spas.
A pool alone starts around $60,000. Given the smaller lots common here, many Sun City homeowners choose a more compact pool or spool, which can land toward the lower end of that range.
Yes, and it’s most of what we design for here. Gunite lets us shape the pool to the exact space available, including smaller spool designs for tighter yards.
Sun City’s HOA is generally more relaxed than newer Menifee communities, but front-facing changes can still require architectural approval. We confirm your community’s specific requirements before finalizing a design.
Yes. We handle the full submission through the City of Menifee’s permitting process, since Sun City falls within Menifee’s city limits.
Most projects run 4 to 5 months start to finish, similar to the rest of our territory, though smaller pool designs can sometimes move faster through construction.
Easier-access steps, low-maintenance finishes, and a right-sized footprint tend to matter more here than large-scale features. We’ll walk through what fits your specific lot and needs during your consultation.
