PHTA sought 10 forward-thinking leaders under the age of 40 who are the voice and next generation of pool, spa and hot tub professionals and found Brian Porter, Premier Pools & Spas’ Vice President.

Who is Brian Porter?

Brian Porter began his career in the pool and spa industry in 1997 at ground level.

HBrianPorterHeadshote has now created a 19 year long career path that has catapulted him to the Vice President title he wears today. He has held positions in retail sales, building, design, training and now management of franchisees. Porter runs Premier Pools’ University and holds himself personally responsible for the education and training of 160 sales persons that works for Premier Pools and Spas’ national franchisees. As a new franchisee, Porter gives extensive training at our “Premier University” – a comprehensive training course in sales and operations. Upon completion, our corporate management team provides on-going personalized support. Porter’s magnetic personality and genuine approach must be experienced to be truly appreciated.

Porter has been instrumental in the company’s significant investment into a Premier Pools & Spas team that manages all aspects of our cutting edge marketing. We focus on internet marketing and SEO (Search Engine Optimization) as we know that our sophisticated buyers are looking for pool builders on the web. Our graphic design team provides beautiful, high-end brochures and a library of print and email ads, postcards, flyers, and all other promotion material – all customized to our franchisee’s needs.

Brian Porter has been invited and to speak at the Atlantic City Pool & Spa show and is volunteering his time for this course. His course will cover small business management growth. Profit and loss reconciliation.Website management systems management. He has a unique background being a second generation pool builder and speaks from the perspective of being a builder. His objective is to grow the industry and to help offices work on their business while focusing on customers and worry less about their marketing initiatives and such. In addition, Brian has supported and encouraged several of his offices to in  becoming PHTA members, which is wonderful for their business and reputation.

Community Service

As an ardent supporter of charitable organizations, Brian strongly encourages and participates in the Premier Pools and Spas’ offices community service efforts. To name a few: JDRF Juvenile Diabetes Fund, Children’s Diabetes Foundation, Wounded Warrior Project, Habitat for Humanity, Shriner’s Organization, Guns and Hoses, Saint Francis Assisi Corporate Challenge for Building Fund, Make-A-Wish Foundation, St. Jude’s Children’s Research, Rich Maurti Cancer Fund, Chelsea King Charity, Little League Teams (Woodcreek, Roseville West and Lincoln, CA) and the Foothill’s Girl’s Softball Team. The pool and spa industry is able to positively advance when those who reap benefits from the pool and spa industry give back to those within and outside of our industry, not for reputation sake but to act upon what is in our hearts which is the drive to care for and help others.
