When it comes wine regions, Wine Country in California is highly touted as being one of the best in the world. This is not an unjustified claim and areas like Napa Valley and Sonoma Valley are simply great places to visit, wine or no wine. The region thrives off of the tourists that come to visit, and residents in the area are extremely warm and hospitable to people from all walks of life.
While Wine Country is obviously famous for being a place where you can get an excellent drink, the food in the area is almost just as good. Napa Valley and Sonoma Valley place a strong emphasis on fusion cuisine, which California is famous for. However, at the same time they focus on tastes that complement the flavor intensity of the wines.
Unlike a lot of other areas in California, the landscape in Napa Valley has fought against the growing urbanization. This allows visitors to enjoy a slower pace of life and simultaneously experience breathtaking views that are unique to the area. This does not mean that Napa Valley or Sonoma Valley lack any of the amenities that help us lead comfortable lives. Instead, establishments in these areas have simply found ways to incorporate them as naturally and unobtrusively as possible. Some of the best examples these amenities are aquatic features like pools and spas.
Francis Ford Coppola Winery
The Francis Ford Coppola Winery is no lightweight when it comes to offering luxury and comfort in Wine Country. The main attraction of the property is the state-of-the-art advanced wine-making facility. This facility is responsible for producing over forty different wines, some of which include: Archimedes, Director’s Cut, and Francis Coppola Reserve. The charming restaurant, RUSTIC, is also incorporated into the property. Here skilled chefs create dishes that are made specifically to complement the winery’s wines.
The park area at the Francis Ford Coppola Winery is where a lot of the recreation, rest, and relaxation happens. Visitors can enjoy pleasant evening walks throughout the park area and couples can have a romantic moment to themselves on a secluded bench under the trees.
At the center of the winery’s park area are two sizable swimming pools which are connected by a swimmable water bridge. Posh chaise lounge chairs and charming parasols surround both pools, giving adults the option of relaxing poolside while children enjoy the water. Visitors can even make special reservations that give them private access to four lounge chairs and a cabine. Each cabine comes with its very own private shower, four towels, and four Sofia Mini singles.
