Family Means Everything
The Pool Kings are designing a swimming pool for Vic and Yukari Sangveraphunsiri, and their last name means “great family”. Family is very important to this family. They have 2 sons, and grand kids that they want close to home. Paul and Brain expect to give them just that with the dream pool they designed for the Sangveraphunsiri family.
Rock the Design
Paul and Brian put together a dream pool for the Sangveraphunsiri family. This swimming pool will be a forty foot long lap pool with a see-through acrylic panel. Water will be able to flow over the see-through panel and down underneath concrete slabs, which is where the sunken seating area will be. Next to the sunken seating area will be a kitchen gathering space. At the end of the lap pool the Pool Kings will add a see-through fire place. Last but not least, there will be a raised infinity spa, and the goal with this spa is to have water cascading all the way around it.
Difference Design Ideas
Brian has the idea to add a fire bowl wall along one side of the lap pool, while Paul wants to add neon-colored water fountains. Both are great design ideas, but they can’t both be incorporated into this swimming pool design. The Sangveraphunsiri’s pick the neon-colored water fountains.
Completing the Dream Pool
The Pool Kings move right into the excavation process. Over a mile of plumbing goes down into the outline of the swimming pool, and fifteen thousand feet of re-barb frames the swimming pool. Once that process is over, shotcrete goes into the frame. While the Pool Kings are working hard on the lap pool, there is an acrylic frame being designed for the see-through element of this pool in Las Vegas. The two fire pits are being installed and the Pool Kings have to make sure that they’re lined up perfectly. Coping surrounds the swimming pool and tile is being added to the swimming pool, but before that happens Yukari has to pick out which tile she wants added to her swimming pool and spa. Paul shows her a couple different options for Yukari to choose from, and in the end she likes the white tile along with the grey glass tile that provides a 3D effect. The acrylic see-through panel is installed very carefully and locked into place. Plaster is added to the swimming pool and color-changing fountains are installed. Paul and Brian are now ready to reveal the dream pool to the Sangveraphunsiri family. “It’s beautiful, like a dream come true.” Yukari says in awe. “I love it, it’s beyond my expectation.” Vic says.
