Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa
The Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa offers guests a fun experience in a sophisticated environment in San Antonio. The 500-room resort features a five-acre water zone that includes two main swimming pools divided by a large waterfall and a lazy river that is 950-feet long. The clear waters of the spacious pool, which is shaped like the Lone Star State, is especially inviting during this time of year, not that anyone could resist it. Go now or in the cooler months, the swimming pool is always heated to 75 degrees during colder months, so you can always expect complete comfort.
La Cantera Resort & Spa
This stunning resort was rightfully listed as one of the World’s Best Hotels in 2011. Spend your time at the 508-room resort learning cool facts about Texas’ history or visit the Lost Quarry Pools were the real fun begins. Named after limestone mines in the area, it features a total of six pools, heated to 78 degrees. The pools are designed distinctively for different activities in the such as playing volleyball or simply swimming. The area also has three spas.
Hilton Hill Country Hotel and Spa
This hotel takes things up several notches with three outdoor swimming pools that are heated to suit the weather. This includes: a lagoon style swimming pool that features a fountain; a beach entry pool; and a lap pool that’s ideal for adults. They’re the perfect place to hang out after you’ve spent some time on the basketball court. A bonus is that the resort is situated close to Sea World which provides a great selection of theme park-bundled packages. Some packages even allow free entry for children.
Hyatt Regency Riverwalk
You won’t find a lazy river at the Hyatt Regency Riverwalk but the resort nonetheless offers great water amenities for guests. In fact, it’s one of the only resorts in the area with a rooftop swimming pool. The hexagonal shaped pool can be found on the eleventh floor of the resort and it overlooks a stunning view of the city.
