Custom Pool Building Services in McDonough, GA
When you choose one of our gunite swimming pools, nothing about the design is fixed in advance. Our Atlanta South team can shape the pool around your McDonough lot, match it to the architecture of your home, and add water features or fire features as part of the same build.
Gunite allows fully custom shapes for sloped or irregular yards, while fiberglass offers a quicker install and a smooth surface.
Fiberglass pools arrive as a finished, factory-made shell, which usually means a faster installation and a smooth, nonporous surface that is gentle on skin and resists algae. For McDonough homeowners who want to be swimming sooner, it’s a popular option. Browse our fiberglass pool models.
Saltwater systems and automation are common choices for easier maintenance. We’ll review the options with you during your site visit.
A vinyl pool combines a sturdy wall system with a smooth custom liner, giving McDonough families a comfortable swimming surface and plenty of shape options. Learn more about vinyl pool options.
Spas, water features, fire features, and outdoor living spaces are popular additions here. We’ll review the options with you during your site visit.

Yes. A building permit is required, and electrical and plumbing work is inspected as well. We coordinate the paperwork and inspection scheduling with a municipal building department or Henry County so you don’t have to.
Septic systems, easements, and setbacks can affect where a pool can go, so they are identified early in the design process. Our team evaluates your McDonough yard before finalizing the design.
Both gunite and fiberglass are popular in the region; the right choice depends on your yard, design goals, and timeline. Sloped lots are common in the area and may call for retaining walls or additional engineering.
