Today we’re profiling Sylvester Stallone and his new $4.5 million La Quinta, California mansion. The actor, director of movies such as The Expendables, Rambo, and countless other action flicks has had an illustrious career in cinema dating back to 1976 when he wrote and starred in the academy award winning classic Rocky, the film would be nominated for a total of 9 academy awards and won 3 for Best Picture, Best Director and Best Film Editing. Stallone would be nominated for Best Actor in his first serious dramatic role. Since then he’s had enormous success at the box office and with a net worth of over $400 million, Stallone can certainly afford the finer things in life.
Being a multimillionaire, Stallone has many homes, of note he has a 15,000 square foot mansion sitting on 4 acres in Beverly Hills, as well as another palatial home located in Lake Tahoe. His new home located within the confines of the Madison Club in La Quinta, CA, is situated on one of the premier private golf courses in the country. The Stallone residence is a blend of Mediterranean and Spanish design motifs set on a lot of nearly a half acre. A far cry from his former $25 million, 11.7 acre bayfront luxury estate in Coconut Grove, he downsized in 1997 after having his youngest daughter was born. Rumor has it that since he and his former wife Jennifer Flavin are indeed looking to part ways that he’s thinking of selling yet again and perhaps moving back to the Miami area.
