If you haven’t gotten your basic cleaning equipment, you may be in a state of confusion. If you go to the pool shop, you will probably see a bunch of different tools and cleaning supplies, but you just aren’t sure what is going on or what you need. Here are some things that you need to have when you are looking at cleaning equipment.

Telescopic Poles

Telescopic poles come in different lengths and have openings at the end so that different tools are able to be attached to them. If you get the higher quality poles, you will find they are made from fiberglass but most telescopic poles are made from aluminum.

Nets

Make sure you have some nets around your pool as you are going to need to get leaves and other debris out of your pool. Many nets are set up so that they will connect to the telescopic poles.

Vacuum Heads

If you want a beautifully clean pool then you need to vacuum your pool on a regular basis. There are different types of vacuum heads depending on the type of pool you have. A concrete pool is going to get a different type of vacuum head than a vinyl pool is going to get.

Vacuum Hoses

Vacuum hoses go hand in hand with vacuum heads when it comes to cleaning equipment. The vacuum head goes on the telescopic pole and the vacuum hose is connected and goes down to vacuum the bottom of the pool.

Pool Brushes

When you are checking out cleaning equipment, pool brushes are often overlooked, but your pool should be brushed at least once a week. This will keep any build up off the sides and bottom of your pool. Make sure you don’t let it get worse or you are going to need a professional to come in and fix things.

Tile Brushes

Another important thing to remember is that the way your tile looks has a lot to do with the look of your pool. Make sure to pay close attention to any build up that is trying to form, but also make sure to regularly scrub your tile with tile cleaner and tile brushes so it doesn’t get out of hand.

Cleaning Equipment – Conclusion
